Can you see the difference between the two pieces of texts shown above?

Call me stupid but the non-existent copyright in the first pic made me giggle.. I mean, it isn’t like I go about reading copyright policies in books, but you usually have the general idea about what they say, right? They say pretty much exactly what the text in the second pic says ( I took it from a book called ‘Empire of the Moghul’ by Alex Rutherford… didn’t take any permission either.. how badass of me XP).

The book with no copyrights is called ‘The Quran and Modern Science’ by Dr. Zakir Naik. Imagine how much work went into a study like that. I truly respect the effort being taken to spread knowledge and make it available to one and all.

We live in an age where almost everyone has access to all the material they need in order to find the truth on their own. People are somewhat more aware and capable of doing their own research and making their own decisions. They have the opportunity to think about what’s wrong and what’s right.

If we don’t take advantage of this great opportunity and do a little soul searching, then we’re totally wasting our time. What could be more important than the truth, than peace? How alive are we when we go about doing what we do, going through the same routine everyday like mindless zombies. What’s the point of us having the ability to think and make decisions if we aren’t going to use it for what’s most important? How are we different from animals if we stop pondering about the larger things in life and worry over trivial matters like food and sleep all the time?

Take a little time out from your life and just think. When questions start building up in your head, research. When you find answers that satisfy you, you will find peace the likes of which you have never known.

I know my past few posts have had a similar message. Wonder why I’m emphasizing on this so much? Because there’s no yesterday and there’s no tomorrow. All you’ve got is the present. The worst thing after not seeking the truth at all is realising it’s importance in your last few minutes.

Wake up.
